Hello. I am Giovanni Valentini, and I joined Amorepacific in June 2024 as the Head of North America Regional Headquarters (RHQ). I have built my career in the global beauty industry, particularly in Europe and the United States, leading various beauty brands at the L'Oréal Group and Unilever. As an Italian, I was immediately in ‘amore (love)’ at first sight, but what truly impressed me was the exceptional quality and sophistication of Amorepacific's brands. This is what led me to join the company. Though it has only been a few months since I joined Amorepacific, the passion and drive of my colleagues, who are eager to grow together, have made me fall in love not only with Amorepacific but also with Korean culture.
Could you introduce Amorepacific North America?
Amorepacific North America consists of offices in New York and Toronto. The main office in New York houses dedicated brand teams for LANEIGE, Innisfree, Sulwhasoo, and AP BEAUTY, which have all established a presence in the North American market. Our Americas R&I Center is also located there. Through our One Team culture, the Amorepacific New York office communicates, collaborates, and grows autonomously. Our diverse talent pool and agile organizational culture serve as the foundation for the continued growth of Amorepacific brands.
What is Amorepacific’s core competitiveness in the global market?
As you know, K-beauty is receiving exceptional consumer interest globally. While K-beauty was originally heralded for reasonable pricing and unconventional ingredients, it is now recognized for superior quality and high efficacy.

In addition, Amorepacific has a diverse portfolio of brands with high global growth potential; all of our brands are characterized by outstanding quality and noteworthy sophistication. Beyond the brands that have successfully established themselves in the North American market, we aim to introduce an even wider breadth of brands to global customers. By doing so, we plan to strengthen our position in the North American market as a leading innovator grounded in authenticity and expertise, with unique strengths in Korean skincare.
