Shanghai R&I Center hosted the 6th AP-CDC (China Dermatology Committee) Meeting on June 12 (Sunday), led by the AMOREPACIFIC R&D Center (HQ) to understand the characteristics of Chinese people's skin through academic exchange with dermatologists in large cities within China and, at the same time, discover leading dermatological technologies based on analysis of local research trends.

At the committee meeting, Shanghai R&I Center signed an MOU with 8 dermatologists from 8 large cities within China for a 5-year research cooperation, with local professors presenting the result of their research on Chinese people's skin. There were also sessions to share the outcomes of joint research between AMOREPACIFIC R&D Center and AP Shanghai R&I Center, including the dermatological effect of AESTURA’s ATOBARRIER products based on clinical trials and characteristics of people’s skin in polluted areas of China (by Lee Hae-kwang, Skin Research Team, R&D Unit) and the result of scalp microorganism research (by Ahn Su-sun, Safety Research Team).

Meanwhile, Yeon Jae-ho, the director of AP Shanghai R&I Center said that customer research by region is required in order to develop innovative products with ‘singularity’ worth capturing the hearts of customers. He also said that the AMOREPACIFIC China would continue to provide the best solution through continuous customer study.
