Makeup Your Life, the main CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program of AMOREPACIFIC was carried out in Beijing, China on April 29. At this campaign that was co-hosted with the Beijing Cancer Rehabilitation Association (北京癌症康复会), 60 female cancer patients came and took part in the event.

As hosts of the event, honorary ambassadors for Makeup Your Life China, Sandra Ng (actress) and Cao Qitai (famous show host) expressed their views on beauty and advised patients to restore their confidence and beauty with a message that by having both inner and outer beauty, they can change their lives. AMOREPACIFIC China (APC) President Charles Kao also encouraged them by indicating that they will be able to restore their inner beauty and health.

A photo exhibition titled 'The Most Beautiful Women (最美的她们)' was also held at the venue. Heroines in the pictures were women who suffered from cancer but were left with an optimistic tone. They revealed their own stories through pictures that by maintaining a positive outlook, they were able to gain full recoveries. Additionally, their pictures were a wonderful boost to the morale of patients who participated in this Makeup Your Life.

And then the special moment arrived. The Makeup Service that is the main part of Makeup Your Life. APC volunteers provided skincare knowhow to patients and applied makeup to them through which they provided patients with a chance to feel beautiful once again.

60 patients took a souvenir profile picture after the application of makeup. With the hopes that the patients will remember how beautiful they were today and never lose their sense of smile, this photo-taking time will stay with them as fond memories.
