Our beauty device brand makeON has won widespread international recognition for its design capabilities, most recently winning the 2015 Japan Good Design Award following on from its success in the German Red Dot Design Award.

The Japan Good Design Award hosted by JIDPO (Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization) is Japan’s most prestigious international design award, and was founded in 1957. Along with German Red Dot, IF and American IDEA, it is one of the world’s top four design competitions. This award gives winning products the right to display the G-Mark, having proved their superior design, usability and innovation. In total, a staggering 4,700 products and 1,000 international companies and designers competed to become the winner this year.

With this award, makeON has been recognized for both its function and beauty with design elements that worked well in places where everyday life takes place, such as the bathroom and dressing table. Its main devices – the vibrating cleanser Cleansing Enhancer and the makeup device Makeup Enhancer – offer users a nice grip and streamlined design, while their fast wireless charging system provides enhanced user convenience which the judges particularly praised in announcing them the winner of the award.
