innisfree is a naturalism cosmetic brand practicing an eco-friendly green life and hosted the tree-planting program in the Inner Mongolian desert from April 14 to 17 to combat the desertification of Inner Mongolia, China.

This tree planting program is a part of the Green Life Campaign that began in 2012 when it first set foot into China. In this program, innisfree donates one tree per each item sold of its hit product ‘The Green Tea Seed Serum’ limited edition for the Million Tree Project of an environmental NGO, Roots and Shoots.

Celebrating its 4th anniversary this year, innisfree collected enough funds to plant a total of 40,000 trees and the Tree Planting Expedition of innisfree’s Korean and Chinese customers went to Inner Mongolia. They planted trees and worked on cultivating innisfree Forest. Each year, innisfree plans to progressively expand innisfree Forest through this million-tree planting program.

innisfree stated that it expects for more and more people to understand the seriousness of the desertification that is occurring in Inner Mongolia of China through this tree planting program with the participation of innisfree’s Korean and Chinese customers. Furthermore, it also said that it will continue with conservation efforts through various customer-centric Green Life campaigns.
