innisfree unveiled a new Ampoule Intense Cushion as part of its showcase of 2015 Spring/Summer makeup trends in Shanghai, China. More than 70 members of the media were invited to the event to see innisfree’s 2015 Spring/Summer makeup with professional makeup artists from Korea on hand to give demonstrations of innisfree’s new Ampoule Intense Cushion. 

Yoona comes to China for new product promotion

Yoona, a member of Korean girl group, Girls' Generation, showed up at the innisfree store in Shanghai IFC Mall. The store, which is designed in the same way as innisfree stores in Korea, was packed by fans taking pictures of Yoona on their mobile.

Launch Ampoule Intense Cushion

Before the grand unveiling of innisfree style, the president of innisfree China, Filipp Cai delivered a short welcoming address, with innisfree China Product Management Team Manager Lee Seon-hee then introducing the new product. The new Ampoule Intense Cushion for 2015 Spring/Summer is a new cushion product from AMOREPACIFIC Group that is packed with Jeju green tea oil to keep the skin moisturized for a long time. Lee explained that Ampoule Intense Cushion helps create the dewy, glowing skin favored by Koreans when fixing makeup and it is especially perfect to use in the cold and dry winter air, as it keeps the skin moisturized all day long. 

Following the presentation, a makeup artist for Girls Generation was on hand for a makeup demonstration using Ampoule Intense Cushion for customers. The demonstration showed customers how to do innisfree style makeup quickly and simply, which is really useful when time is tight.

Yoona and her makeup artist reveal their makeup secrets

Yoona looked stunning in a simple white dress. She talked about how she felt about working with innisfree for over seven years and shared some unforgettable memories after a short introduction of herself. Then she described the different makeup styles of Korean, Japanese and Thai at the K-Beauty Talk Show in response to questions from the host. She said that Japanese and Thai women tended to wear a thick layer of base makeup with heavy eye makeup and that they particularly cared about their eyelashes, while Korean women cared most about creating clear, dewy, healthy-looking skin and keeping their eye makeup looking sharp and neat. She added, "Korean women like to bring out the beauty of their lips with point color." Yoona revealed that she, too, likes to wear only Cushion and Tint when hanging out with friends. In fact, she showed her makeup pouch containing the cushion product, lip balm and tint. And she ended the talk show by asking customers for their support and interest toward innisfree and her wish that the new Ampoule Intense Cushion become a big hit.
