Employees working at duty-free shops meet customers from all over the world. innisfree Travel Retail Team prepared delicious snacks to encourage innisfree GreenUs who produce great results by providing the best services in the duty-free shops in the city and airports, and the partner company Igreen's sales managers that are in charge of nurturing and training them.

One early winter day, we ventured out in the morning frost to visit innisfree's partner Igreen located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Today is the day of the monthly SM (Shop Master) meeting where GreenUs working at duty-free shops and Igreen sales managers gather to share the sales strategies and know-how and recognize outstanding employees. To express gratitude and encourage on-site employees that have worked so hard this year, all members of the innisfree Travel Retail (TR) Team visited the Igreen Education Center where the SM meeting was held.

After enthusiastically sharing new information and exchanging opinions in a serious atmosphere, the TR Team members carefully went about their business. A short while later, they reappeared with their hands full of sandwiches and beverages they had prepared as a secret to GreenUs. The room was instantly filled with energy, with members cheering the unexpected surprise.

Igreen is in charge of nurturing and coaching GreenUs, who are employees selling innisfree products to customers on site. Igreen is striving to enhance its expertise in providing green life with health and beauty for customers based on sincere, natural kindness.

"We're delighted to provide this opportunity for GreenUs and Igreen managers who have worked so hard this year to share snacks together with staff at headquarters and encourage one another," said innisfree TR Team Leader Jung Ikjae with gratitude, who has been busily distributing snacks and encouraging coworkers. "I believe that you will each convey the innisfree brand and product value to customers worldwide in 2017 as well."

Though they each have slightly different positions and roles, they share the same goal of conveying healthy beauty to customers. So, we could see them getting along without constraint and sharing words of encouragement and support. The atmosphere grows naturally comfortable as they share snacks. Igreen sales manager Sun Soonmi is also busy catching up with her coworkers.

"I've only met the TR Team members from headquarters at official meetings or stores. But being here together in such a relaxed atmosphere and eating the delicious sandwiches they've prepared, I feel the warm spirit of comradeship. It's like I got a surprise gift for the end of the year."

The meeting is usually dismissed immediately after the planned meeting's end time. But, today, they moved around the desks that had been lined up in rows toward the board so that they could face one another in a circle, and the staff from the headquarters and the on-site employees shared valuable time communicating with each another. They discovered a new side to each another, and better understood their coworkers as people by talking in a relaxed environment and being inspired to work with each other more effectively.

"When meeting with staff from headquarters at the store, I usually talk about work-related things like sales. So, the experience we had today of having conversations in such a cordial atmosphere is really special, and I'm honored to have been a part of it."

When Oh Yeran, GreenUs at Shinsegae Duty Free Shop in Myeongdong, gave her thoughts on today's event, her coworkers all smiled warmly. This is the moment when we can feel the pride and bond shared by GreenUs.

This occasion for communication raised the temperature with warmth in the chilly weather. Today, people with shared ambitions could laugh heartily, making everyone a little happier than before.
