APC SCM Unit QA Team's travelogue
The column section written by AP Group members.
Special Journey of the APC SCM Unit QA Team!
Travel Arrangements:
- Background: To promote friendship among team members, our QA Team decided to spend summer vacation together. As the decision was fairly made through a democratic vote, we were all happy to make arrangements for this vacation.
- Place: Since time was running out and there would be quite a lot of people joining the trip with all the team members and their families, we thought traveling overseas would be a tough go from the start. But wanting to avoid places nearby like Jiangsu (江蘇), Zhejiang (浙江) and Shanghai (上海), we agreed to go to Sanya, Hainan (海南三亚), also known as the "Hawaii of the East." Sanya is blessed with fresh air and the beautiful scenery of the beach, and offers a variety of delicious seafood. We can also see rainforests and ecological resources unique to a tropical region. So, without even a tinge of hesitation, we all decided that Sanya would be our destination.
- Process : We only had about two weeks before the trip, so we decided to move quickly by assigning different tasks to each member. Fortunately, tasks were divided so well that specific scheduling, hotel and flight reservations, and a detailed itinerary were all done promptly, finally coming up with an action packed, four-day, travel-free itinerary.
People often say, "Well begun is half done." After making the arrangements, a total of thirteen members of the QA Team and their families were all set to begin the trip. Missing from the trip was a female member who recently became a mother (congratulations!), another member who is soon to be a mother (congratulations again!), and a male member who had had plans to spend the holidays with his girlfriend (seriously?).

Once we arrived at Sanya, we decided to go to the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park (亚龙湾森林公园) and the sea. When we arrived at the park, we could enjoy so many pleasant things. The tropical view stretched out for miles around us, and looked even more beautiful on our electric car ride through the park. There was also a light drizzle that freshened up the air and put our bodies and minds at ease.

Looking down at the Yalong Bay – Standing on a high perch and looking down, we couldn't help but marvel at the view where the autumn sea meets with the sky. 
The female members of the QA Team – "Ahhhh…" Inhaling fresh air and crying out at the top of our lungs towards the sea seemed to release all of their stress. At the beach filled with pure blue romance
It was a glorious view with the sun, beach and ocean all harmonized into one exquisite scene. There are many islands and bays in Sanya, but we only visited a few due to time constraints. Here are some photos for other AMOREPACIFIC Group members to enjoy.

Finally, we can't forget to mention the fruits of Sanya. The mangoes and coconuts we tasted were so big, fresh, and delicious, that we practically gorged on them.
| Extra Info.: Importance of Sun Care Products It was the rainy season in Sanya when we were there, so it was sunny when we went out, but soon the rain poured, and then a while later the sunlight was as strong as ever. Since we did so many outdoor activities from the time we arrived, our faces were burned by the sun. We kept on applying sun care products to our faces, but it was useless. After that experience on the first day, all of us members, as well as our families, started to apply sun care products more thoroughly from the next day onwards. I hope that all the other AMOREPACIFIC Group members remember to pack their sun care products when they're going on their next summer vacation. |
