The American fashion and beauty journal WWD(Women's Wear Daily) announced the 2014 WWD Beauty Top 100 on Friday, April 24 and AMOREPACIFIC ranked 14th on that list, up three places from 2013. Additionally, it came in at 7th among the Top 10 Companies in Sales Gain.

WWD also made mention of all five global champion brands of AMOREPACIFIC (Sulwhasoo, LANEIGE, Mamonde, innisfree and ETUDE HOUSE) and highlighted the growth of mainstream brands, expansion of duty-free businesses in Korea as a result of the increasing number of Chinese tourists and overall sales growth in the Chinese market.

Meanwhile, WWD singled out three main influencing factors of the 2014 global beauty rankings: 1) the acquisition of brands by other global brands. 2) Japanese/European companies are in decline due to foreign exchange fluctuations. 3) the growth of Korean companies through increasing sales from Chinese and international markets.
