I am especially pleased to be able to be with many more Amorepacific members this year, as we celebrate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of Amorepacific.

Next to our long-serving employees, who have been recognized for their critical role in the growth of our company, there was the unsparing love and support of their families who were always there. First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the families of our long-serving employees attending today.

My deepest gratitude also goes to our biggest supporters, our customers, who have led Amorepacific to today, and members of our partners, who have always given us strength.

I am honored to share the joy of celebrating our 74th anniversary with all members of Amorepacific, who are dedicated to doing their best across the world even at this very moment. And I would like to once again congratulate the long-serving employees who have been awarded the Long Service Award today.

Amorepacific has taken one step at a time on our path of vocation towards creating a more beautiful and healthier world. There were times in our history when we faced big and small challenges, but we grew every time. It was a history written because we were committed to our unwavering principle of putting our customers first, as we all came together to tackle each and every challenge.

Once again, I think of our customers as I look at the challenges we face today. Could it be that we overlooked the hearts of our customers in the face of a huge wave of drastic change?

Even as time passed and the world changed, our one key principle has always be 'customer-centric'. As we have done until today, we must continue to be a company that always puts customers first.

We must create innovative products for our customers, without giving up, even if it is something that cannot be found in the entire world. We shall provide a completely different customer experience with our own stories and content that cannot be found anywhere else. And we must achieve digitalization that closely observes and follows where our customers' hearts are headed. All this, in the end, is being 'customer-centric' and therefore, we must be determined and sincere in our efforts over everything else. There are many lands of opportunities in front of us. For the next 5 years, the biggest driver of global cosmetics industry will be the Asian markets.

Huge markets that are beyond our imagination are wide open to us. And Yongsan, where all of Seoul roads lead to, will be the starting point of the era of Eurasia that will open beyond the Korean Peninsula.

The path we, Amorepacific, must take is towards the global stage – now and tomorrow.

By leading innovation, we must not only win the hearts of customers in Korea, but also accelerate growth in China, which is growing into the largest market in the world, led by the power of young luxury customers, the ASEAN region that continues to achieve amazing growth, as well as India where large cities full of energy grow every day.

Furthermore, we must expand our view and presence on the global stage, beyond North America and Europe.

With hearts full of the sacred entrepreneurship of 'contributing to humanity through beauty and health',

we exist to make our customers' lives happy and the world beautiful and healthy.

Our sustainable management activities that are closely in line with the 'Total Commitment Initiative towards the Service, Quality and the Environment' declared in 1993 are like our destiny.

We must become 'a responsible corporate citizen' that exists in harmony with all members of the corporate ecosystem, and lead in the path of creating 'A MORE Beautiful World'.

As a global beauty company that represents the industry, Amorepacific will continue to seek and practice our way of achieving inclusive growth in customers, the environment and our society by actively pursuing 'sustainable consumption and production'.

I would like to ask for your kind interest and support in Amorepacific's journey towards creating a beautiful and healthy future for humanity!
