“What kind of person am I?” Maybe all of you have encountered this question. The theme of the film Inside Out 2 directly addresses the same question. As Riley enters adolescence, she faces unfamiliar emotions such as anxiety, envy, boredom, and jealousy. Under the gaze of others, she gradually drifts away from her true self beyond her control. Riley’s confusion is a good representation of young people in their teens and twenties today. Social media and artificial intelligence (AI) have become part of everyday life. Raised in a digital world from birth, young people today are more exposed to the eyes of others than any previous generation.
We strive to fit into groups. We feel the constant pressure to prove who we are. We worry about our future in a fast-evolving world. But in chasing a ‘better self’ defined by others, are we drifting away from our true selves? Driven by this question, our campaign was born to find the answer.
01 What 21 Million Social Media Data Revealed About Beauty

<Meet Your Beauty Class>
Advances in social media and AI have made comparing oneself to others easier than ever, directly shaping how future generations perceive themselves. For that reason, we conducted a study to understand how adolescents and young adults are struggling with emotional development. We analyzed 21 million pieces of data to see how people in their teens and twenties talk about beauty online, along with the language and emotions behind their words. Based on our findings, it was evident that adolescents and young adults are losing the ability to look inward, overshadowed by comparison and the eyes of others.
Based on this very awareness, the Meet Your Beauty campaign was launched in 2024. Meet Your Beauty is a social contribution project that helps future generations move beyond uniform standards, discover their own unique value, and develop self-assurance. The journey begins with discovering your “true self” and advancing toward envisioning your future, until you end up speaking up for yourself. Composed of three programs, Meet Your Beauty takes young people on a path of self-discovery, connection, and long-term momentum for growth. Let’s take a closer look at each step of the journey.
02 A Time to Discover Yourself: Meet Your Beauty Class

<Meet Your Beauty Class>
“What kind of person am I?” How many of you can answer this question without hesitation? Meet Your Beauty Class begins from this topic.
The class is built around two primary programs. One is project education, where participants reflect on social media beauty standards and discover their own beauty. The other is a creative workshop where participants use artistic mediums like photography, video, and drawing to convey their own beauty. Both programs use the “10-sided shape of Meet Your Beauty” to help participants identify the various elements that make up who they are. 10 keywords, including inner self, relationships, hobbies, attitude, and confidence, are provided to let the participants visualize beauty in their own way. The completed 10-sided shapes turn into stars—each with a different form—illustrating each participant’s own beauty. Meet Your Beauty encourages introspection and self-discovery, rather than following standard norms. For adolescents, it can mark the beginning of moving away from other people’s perceptions and fixed standards as they start to discover and affirm the beauty of their own.
More than 2,300 adolescents in Meet Your Beauty Class showed meaningful changes. At first, the majority of keywords focused on looks, such as “tall” or “pretty.” But as the sessions continued, participants began expanding their standards of beauty toward everyday life, relationships, values, and so on.

Small but meaningful improvements were especially noticeable in the workshop for adolescents with migrant backgrounds, many of whom had struggled with self-expression. They gradually started to let go of perfectionism. Rather than shaping themselves to fit in someone’s standards, they began expressing themselves as they were and affirming who they are. The change was also proved through numbers. According to the 2025 Meet Your Beauty evaluation report, participants in the adolescent stage showed significant improvement in their perception and attitude toward beauty. The report also found that such changes extended to self-esteem and life satisfaction. Participants shared the following comments: “I learned about my tendencies, my emotions, and what I used to love;” “Beauty is not a standard set by someone else. It’s what you see in yourself.” They have found the key to seeing themselves through their own standards, not someone else’s.
Once they discover their true selves, the next question naturally follows. Only after understanding who they are can they begin to see the future they want to live in.
03 A Time to Connect Yourself with the World: Meet Your Beauty Mentoring

<Meet Your Beauty Mentoring pilot session>
Now that you’ve discovered your true self, the next question comes: “How do you envision your future?” Meet Your Beauty Mentoring is a program that explores this question with adolescents in underserved areas, where career education opportunities are limited. In partnership with education offices in underserved areas, small schools in rural communities are selected among 89 areas experiencing population decline nationwide. Before the start of the program, we conducted a survey on 370 middle school students from 10 schools in underserved areas to find out their needs during career exploration. According to the survey, 53% of schools lacked a dedicated career teacher, while 75% of students responded that their current career classes do not align with their desired path.
The highest response among the students was surprising. 69% answered “finding my field of interest.” Based on the survey, Meet Your Beauty Mentoring set a single belief that “the future starts with knowing who you are.”
Instead of introducing or taking popular jobs, we help students look into their inner selves first. Through the Meet Your Beauty Mentoring web tool that utilizes AI chatbot and self-assessments, students explore career fields grounded in self-understanding. During the overnight in-person mentoring session, students meet career mentors from their areas of interest whom they had previously engaged with online and experience work firsthand.
Experiences gained across online and offline sessions come together to form a personal career portfolio. The program does not end as a one-off hands-on experience. The portfolio continuously gets updated as students move up through school. Through this process, students naturally discover their own strengths and connect them to their potential and dreams. The change was also reflected in last year’s pilot mentoring program for middle school students in Jindo-gun. The response “I now have a plan for my future career” rose by 23.5%. Now that you’ve discovered your true self and envisioned your future, the next question comes up: “How can you speak up for yourself?”
04 A Time to Express Yourself: Meet Your Beauty Academy

Everyone has a different way of speaking up for themselves. Growth also takes a different shape for each person. After 80 years of research in beauty, Amorepacific saw nurturing beauty and wellness creators as the most authentic way to support growth—the reason why Meet Your Beauty Academy took this direction.
Growth is not simply about learning skills to outperform others. Among countless choices, growth entails discovering the color that feels most like you and building solid roots around it. This is how Meet Your Beauty Academy defines growth. The four-month journey of Meet Your Beauty Academy began with vivid, hands-on experience. 24 participants from France, Indonesia, and many other countries began with Positive Beauty training. They also visited Amorepacific brand spaces, including espoir Yeonnam and Amore Seongsu to gain a firsthand insight into the products and brand philosophy.
Through collaboration with the creator group Leferi, participants developed creator skills, including content planning and channel branding. Based on the knowledge they gained, participants offered a beauty consulting program for international students, providing participants a chance to experience beauty’s positive influence firsthand.
Through this program, participants were able to take in both technical skills and the value of mutual growth. Moreover, the final mentoring session gave them time to deeply take to heart the essence of being a creator. Minsco, beauty creator and campaign mentor, said, “Rather than chasing flashy trends, building a color of one’s own is the only way to keep moving forward in the long term.” Her remarks offered participants another chance to reflect on the campaign’s true meaning.

The message left a lasting impression on the participants. They shed the pressure of perfection, choosing instead to speak to their subscribers with honesty and authenticity. This sincere approach fostered deeper empathy and positive influence. One participant shared, “I learned that lasting growth comes not from looking perfect on camera, but from leading a healthy life and taking care of myself off camera first.” This response best conveys the essence of Meet Your Beauty Academy.
