Amorepacific US Opens Its First-Ever Global Beauty Pop-Up in New York City

  On May 8th, Amorepacific US launched the company’s first-ever Global Beauty Pop-Up store, in partnership with Marie Claire magazine. The shop was kicked off with an exclusive grand opening event, attended by over 50 prominent New York-based influencer, which also celebrated Marie Claire's May issue dedicated to global beauty.

  The pop-up shop opened its doors to consumers on May 9th and was originally scheduled to run through May 25th, however, due to continuous interest from media and high demand from consumers, it was extended through June 3rd. For the first time, six of Amorepacific US brands – AMOREPACIFIC, LANEIGE, Mamonde, Sulwhasoo, IOPE and Annick Goutal – became available in the same space, offering consumers one of a kind opportunity to shop the most popular products and reinforcing the company’s leadership in global beauty.

  Throughout the duration of the pop-up store, which was located in a trendy part of Soho on Bleecker Street, consumers had an opportunity to learn more about the Amorepacific US portfolio of brands, explore our curated selection of best-selling products, indulge in samples and receive an exclusive 10% discount on all purchases. In addition, Amorepacific US team coordinated a series of five special events to continuously drive awareness for the store, increase foot traffic and consumer engagement. The events featured prominent influencers, such as @LiahYoo and @OMGBart, a micro-influencer duo @MakeupwithMona and @PackMeInYourSuitcase, and complimentary custom mini-facials sessions performed by Amorepacific US very own Asian Beauty Creator, Araceli Elchami. All of the events were open to the public and were shared on social media as influencers took over brands’ Instagram accounts for authentic and engaging content.

  In addition to attention on social media, the store received strong coverage from top trade media outlets, WWD and CEW, bringing attention of industry professionals to our company.

  Learning from this successful pop-up experience, Amorepacific US team looks forward to exploring other opportunities to engage with both media and consumers in an interactive way, showcasing our company’s heritage and portfolio of brands, and reinforcing its leadership in the beauty space.
