Amorepacific has been awarded three prestigious Good Design (GD) marks at the '2024 Good Design Awards' hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. YouTube content Healing Times was selected in the Content Design category, while in the Package Design category, AP BEAUTY's M.D. Line and ODYSSEY CHAPTER 5 were recognized for their exceptional design.

‘Healing Times’ is a flagship content series from Amorepacific’s YouTube channel ‘Beauty Point,’ which has garnered significant popularity. The content presents an audacious concept of crushing and breaking obsolete Amorepacific beauty products, offering a multi-sensory experience through its striking visuals and sounds. Known for its creative and immersive videos, the Beauty Point channel currently boasts 1.19 million subscribers as of September.

In the Package Design category, ‘AP BEAUTY’s M.D. Line’—a high-efficiency, high-end anti-aging collection for skin repair—was recognized for its exceptional design. Incorporating dermatological ingredients and techniques, this line’s packaging is designed to evoke the clinical tools used in professional treatments. By using silver metal as the primary material, the packaging immediately creates an association with medical equipment from the first touch. Minimal processing of metal and plastic materials further enhances the intuitive presentation of the line’s efficacy while achieving a high level of aesthetic refinement.

‘ODYSSEY CHAPTER 5’ is a modern reinterpretation of Odyssey, a men’s skincare brand with a 30-year heritage. The product draws from the brand’s storytelling rooted in the theme of ‘voyage’ and its fragrance legacy, offering a fresh experience that resonates with today’s consumers. The design takes inspiration from lighthouses floating on the sea, visually embodying the brand’s narrative. Its understated matte finish and minimalist graphic layout, with ample white space, sincerely convey the brand’s sophisticated essence and new persona.

The ‘Good Design Awards,’ hosted annually since 1985 by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, is the highest accolade in Korean design. The award recognizes products with outstanding design by granting them the official GD (Good Design) certification mark from the government.
