In April 1, AMOREPACIFIC opened GIANT, its new global ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, to all of its members.

GIANT TF undertook the GIANT Project in February 2014 in three phases: design, implementation in Korea (October 2015) and global implementation (April 2016) with the purpose of building a platform that connects the AP world and serves as a future neural network to enable the company to achieve the vision of becoming a Great Global Brand Company.

The GIANT Project was launched to standardize the business processes of AMOREPACIFIC Group through reorganizing and integrating the branch-specific ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems into a single, unified system. It also adopted BI and e-solutions (e-HR, e-Accounting and e-Sales), standardized its performance index and enhanced the management of global strategies and user oriented working environment for simpler, more efficient report analysis. Moreover, the integrated system combined with group standard process reduced time and cost of establishing process, training employees and implementing systems required when entering a new market. As a result, the working style and culture of AMOREPACIFIC Group has been set up ahead of schedule.

GIANT TF now runs a Help Desk through double shift staff rotations at the Korean HQ, with employees also sent to help stabilize GIANT system at local branches. We kindly ask all of you for your continued support and cooperation to stabilize our global business platform GIANT, so that it can work as a global neural network of AP soon.
