Amorepacific has launched a customizable liquid/cushion foundation service, namely BASE PICKER. Unveiled at AMORE Seongsu on April 6, the service is available online via ARITAUM Mall.

BASE PICKER offers a total of 100 base makeup colors with 20 levels of brightness and 5 tones for every skin. This wide selection of colors is the result of three years of study conducted by Amorepacific in collaboration with KAIST on the skin tones of customers and makeup foundation shades. Through the BASE PICKER service, customers are able to choose from 100 colors, two different textures and two product types to readily make and buy the best liquid/cushion foundation for their skin.

Along with the BASE PICKER service, AMORE Seongsu located in Seoul provides the skin tone analysis program using KAIST's patented technology and counseling with a makeup artist to help each customer find the right color and texture (glow/semi matte) for their natural skin tone and get a fully personalized liquid/cushion foundation, right there on the spot. In particular, Amorepacific's patent pending robot is capable of making a customized makeup foundation quickly in a clean and hygienic way.

From April 12 to 30, ARITAUM Mall is hosting a special online event offering the first 100 customers every day to try a personalized sample before they buy the regular size. Through the Color Matching Program, the BASE PICKER service recommends color palettes for each customer, based on the color of the base makeup product they have used, and invites them to adjust the best color and texture. Three samples of foundation with the color and texture of their choice will be delivered after which they can order the customized liquid/cushion foundation they want in regular size. The customers would be satisfied with this non-face-to-face service.
