Amorepacific is proud to present the “House of Beauty Scientists” exhibition, showcasing the company’s 70-year journey in cosmetics research. This interactive exhibition, highlighting various innovations and research achievements since establishing the industry’s first research lab, is open until October this year at 43 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

In 1954, Amorepacific founded the first research laboratory in the Korean cosmetics industry. Since then, the company has pursued in-depth studies on beauty and health, introducing numerous innovative products to the global market. Visitors to the “House of Beauty Scientists” exhibition will have the opportunity to explore Amorepacific’s extensive research in skin science, active ingredients, and advanced technologies and even meet the company’s researchers.

The first floor of the exhibition hall is dedicated to how beauty researchers acquire knowledge and conduct studies on healthy, beautiful skin. In the “Beauty Scientist’s Library,” visitors can browse books used at Amorepacific’s R&I Center and research papers the company’s scientists authored. The “Skin Beauty Lab” recreates a skincare research environment, showcasing active ingredients, key technologies, skin science, hair research, and personalized beauty devices developed by Amorepacific.

The second floor, “Color Beauty Lab,” focuses on Amorepacific’s research in makeup cosmetics. The “Color Atelier” is designed as an inspirational space for color researchers. Here, visitors can explore the research processes behind makeup product color payoff, adhesion, staying power, makeup layer, and studies on various skin tones across different ethnicities. The exhibition also offers a service to help visitors find the foundation shade that best matches their skin tone.

Outside the “House of Beauty Scientists” exhibition hall, visitors can see plants like ginseng and other raw materials used in Amorepacific products. They can also meet current R&I Center cosmetic researchers, learn about their specialized research fields, and ask questions. In the future, the exhibition plans to offer “Research Classes” for more in-depth discussions on specific research areas.
