Last month, AMOREPACIFIC China (APC) received the 2014 Outstanding Contribution Award for Poverty Alleviation from the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.

APC donated CNY 2 million to the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation for the purpose of refugee relief after the Yunnan earthquake on August 3, 2014. The Foundation prepared a special occasion for organizations and volunteers that made a donation last year, including APC CPR Team Manager Sean Chen, attended the awards ceremony in Beijing, and received the award on behalf of APC.

APC’s donation will be used to build a school building for children in Yunnan who lost their school in the natural disaster. And this building will be named AMORE Building. APC is looking forward to seeing children in this area continue their study starting from this summer. Moreover, APC will continue with various CSR programs and fulfill its social responsibility in return for all the love shown by customers.
