The world-famous AMOREPACIFIC Pink Ribbon Love Marathon was held on September 14 in Daegu, Korea. This Pink Ribbon Love Marathon is part of the AMOREPACIFIC Pink Ribbon Campaign, which is the main Corporate Social Responsibility program that AMOREPACIFIC has promoted since 2000 to provide useful information about breast healthcare for women and raise awareness of the importance of self-examination. 

The Pink Ribbon Love Marathon takes place annually across five cities in Korea, including Seoul and Busan. However, AMOREPACIFIC cancelled all events in the first half of 2014 out of respect to those on board and affected by the Sewol Ferry tragedy. The first marathon of this year was held on September 14 in Daegu.

Taking part at the event, which was themed around 'A festival for everyone to see, enjoy and share,' were officials from Daegu Metropolitan City Hall and the Korea Breast Cancer Foundation, members of AMOREPACIFIC Group and Go Ara, an exclusive model for LIRIKOS. There were various programs on offer for participants, including donations, experiences, exhibitions and beauty-themed events hosted by HERA and ARITAUM, the sponsors of the Pink Ribbon Campaign. 

Meanwhile, this year's Pink Ribbon Love Marathon will be end with the Seoul Marathon scheduled on October 19. Though it is held in only two cities, we hope that the Pink Ribbon Love Marathon continues to serve as the meaningful event it has been for every participant and person concerned in every other year. It is the springboard for similar CSR programs taking place in other countries around the world.
