Through two Play Green Festivals in Korea, innisfree encouraged youngsters to live a simple green life and many of them agreed. innisfree held this Play Green Festival in Shanghai, China for the first time with the hope that nature lovers would come together to save the Earth.

On the very day of the Festival, over 2,000 nature-lovers came to Shanghai Expo Park and enjoyed the exciting Green Amusement Park (绿动游乐园) dedicated to green movement and Play Green Class. They experienced green life through various programs, including Energy Saving and Use of Green Energy and supported the green movement. Play Green at Green Amusement Park
innisfree opened an application page on its official platform for this first ever Play Green Festival in Shanghai, China. The immense interest from fans of innisfree and nature lovers meant the number of applicants surged to 10,000, making it incredibly difficult to get tickets. On the day of the festival, the atmosphere grew as participants arrived at the park and enjoyed the feeling of being surrounded by nature away from the city. In the afternoon, cotton candy made using a bicycle-powered generator was sold at the Green Amusement Park, the world’s only place to play with green energy. Participants pedaled together to generate power and managed to reach the energy goal. This interesting game helped participants learn how green energy is generated. They also turned their environmental protection ideas into objects through recycling in Play Green Class. For example, they added drawings inspiring environmental protection to their cosmetics bag, made their own pot using empty bottles with the help of teachers and learned how to give a trendy edge to their eco handkerchief. They discovered and learned about new green life in their own green world.

But, the fun didn’t end there. They rode innisfree green bicycles around the park along the bike lane in the shade of trees and the view of them full of energy was as pretty as a picture. Participants strolled around Green Garden and Green Love Library (绿色爱心图书馆) and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon in nature with the fresh warm breeze of early summer.
