AMOREPACIFIC held a special 70th anniversary celebration at 10:30 a.m. on September 5, 2015 at Osan Beauty Campus, Korea, with over 300 members from across the world in attendance. This was followed in the afternoon by the opening ceremony for the Archive, which embraces the 70-year history of AMOREPACIFIC and provides a chance to look back on our history of beauty in cosmetics.

The ceremony was centered on a theme of Great Journey, Great Company in celebration and gratitude for the passionate work of all our members working toward innovation while looking back through our journey of beauty over the past 70 years. The celebration featured a dedication ceremony for a critical biography of the first Asian Beauty Creator and former CEO Suh Sung-whan and events tracing back the 70 year-history of AMOREPACIFIC, which was begun with the dream of the founder. Awards were also given to model employees, long-term employed persons and partners.

In his celebration speech, Suh Kyung-bae laid out commitments for the years to come together with members of AMOREPACIFIC, namely to: 1) create inimitable beauty of our own in pursuit of singular beauty value; 2) tap into Global Mega Cities to expand our presence in world markets; 3) be a responsible corporate citizen serving our communities with an altruistic heart and 4) be Beauty Creators and work together to make this world more beautiful.
