23 HR managers from 9 branch offices (Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan and Taiwan) attended the seminar, which was an opportunity to learn and customize the new personnel management system to the characteristics of regional offices based on HR policies established by the Korean HQ. On the first day of the seminar, HR managers shared the strategic direction set by the HR Unit of the Korean HQ, talent nurturing and evaluation system as part of Link 21 and discussed positions, promotions and incentives. Then, on the following day, they held a Q&A session after each regional office had presented the 2015 HR Review and their plans for 2016.
Participants said that the seminar was helpful as a way to learn about the new personnel management system, as well as best practice cases of regional offices and their plans for the forthcoming year. In addition, it was a great chance to bring HQ and HR managers together and have a discussion facilitated through the workshop. AMOREPACIFIC Group HR Division has set out its goal to achieve a balance between globalization and localization of the HR system based on Link 21 and is making considerable efforts to push forward change management.
