Innisfree opened its first store in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital city, on Friday, December 5. Plus, there was a special ‘media preview’ and pre-opening event held on December 4, the day before the grand opening. The 80 reporters from leading magazines who participated in the event said that they were glad to finally see innisfree in Malaysia. They also noted their high expectations of innisfree being much loved by local customers. 

On the store’s opening day, around 100 customers lining up from an hour before opening to get into the store. The Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall staff members who visited the store were amazed with what they saw. Thanks to such huge support from customers, innisfree's first store in Malaysia has already recorded high sales. 

The successful opening of innisfree’s first store in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia as well as in Singapore last year, shows that innisfree has moved a step closer to its mission to raise its competitiveness in ASEAN markets. Innisfree plans to open more stores in Kuala Lumpur and enter the Thailand market soon and, in doing so, the brand will grow into a naturalism brand widely loved in ASEAN countries.
