AMOREPACIFIC Group has, in addition to its five global champions, many brands that are currently engaged in various fields, ranging from hair care to inner beauty and beauty devices. This year, News Square brings you the lowdown on the many brands of AMOREPACIFIC Group and the work they are doing to spread beauty across many different beauty fields.
The sixth brand to be introduced by this article is MakeON.

Last August, AMOREPACIFIC, which knows women's skin best, released a new brand specializing in beauty devices designed for Asian women's skin, which is particularly vulnerable to irritation. By bringing new devices to daily beauty care, the beauty device brand MakeON helps customers to resolve beauty concerns easily and effectively. Let's find out more about MakeON, which many Korean AMOREPACIFIC Group members have already tested and given rave reviews!


MakeON Design

MakeON has a design that reveals beauty, making it a stylish addition to living space when not in use. It functions primarily as a beauty device that makes skin beautiful, while also upgrading the beauty style of customers with wireless charging, metal nameplate, minimalist body design, and restrained packaging. The MakeON device naturally blends in with the living space, whether in the bathroom or on the dresser, thanks to its sophisticated and well-made exterior. No surprise, then, that it received the Red Dot Award: Communication Design in Germany, which is one of the world's top three design awards.

Two Main Devices of MakeON

1. MakeON Cleansing Enhancer

MakeON Cleansing Enhancer is a smart vibrating cleanser that perfectly cleanses the face and increases pore resilience with micro-motion skin exercise effect. You can feel the smoothness of your skin texture improve after you use it, which is thanks to the way the whirlpool of water flows from the brush that moves 7-20 degrees on both sides, selectively removing skin waste and dead skin cells, while also making the skin texture bright and smooth.

2. MakeON Makeup Enhancer

MakeON Makeup Enhancer is a device that reduces the time women spend on makeup, while delivering perfection. All you need to do is to put some of the base product on the puff embedded on the enhancer, press the button to turn it on, and spread it on your face. MakeON's special tapping motion vibration technology allows you to apply a thin, even layer of makeup. Not only that, but it also enables you to put on makeup using a device, so you won't get it on your hands.
Makeup Enhancer also offers various applicators, and the device is easy to operate with one-button manipulation. MakeON Marketing Strategies and Activities

As befits a beauty device brand in which product testing is important, MakeON is actively implementing various marketing activities at which it meets with customers. At its outset, MakeON held product testing events and beauty talk shows at a hotel every Monday evening for women aged 28 to 35, which are the main target customer of the brand. MakeON also opened a pop-up store at Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil in May, holding a face lifting and cleansing beauty class with its model Lee Da-hee. The social media event, product testing, and Lee Da-hee's beauty talk class were a resounding success. Over 4,000 visitors attended the store on the day it was opened, creating a powerful word-of-mouth effect among women, with the keyword rising up the search engine rankings.
MakeON has recently begun a new testing group activity called 'Two-week Rental Service,' which is available in select apartment communities, allowing participants to share their reviews and changes after using the beauty device for 2 weeks. This campaign has been receiving a great response from many young moms.

MakeON is currently working on a skincare device, in addition to Cleansing Enhancer and Makeup Enhancer, so that busy women, including office workers and housewives who barely have time for professional care, can find a solution to their skincare concerns.
