Amorepacific Wins Seven Awards at iF Design Award 2022

- Receives multiple awards in the Communication Design, Package Design, and Interior Architecture categories.



Amorepacific received seven awards in the iF Design Award: Future Technology Contents Art & Science in the Communication Design category; LANEIGE Water Bank, LANEIGE Neo Foundation, IOPE Super Vital Bio Potential, HANYUL Red Rice Essential Skin Softener Limited, and AYUNCHE in the Packaging Design category; and Sulwhasoo House, Sulwhasoo Bukchon Flagship Store in the Interior Architecture category.


iF Design Award, organized by International Forum Design in Germany, is one of the three most prestigious design awards worldwide, along with the Red Dot Design Award in Germany, and the IDEA Design Award in the US.


Future Technology Contents Art & Science conceptualized and reinterpreted the 16 technologies that have been developed at the Amorepacific R&D Center. This series of 3D motion graphics that turn technology into intuitive and fascinating works of art captivates viewers and arouses their curiosity toward the technology behind beauty products. The artworks were designed in a way that allows them to be applied in various online and offline media.


LANEIGE Water Bank, LANEIGE Neo Foundation, IOPE Super Vital Bio Potential, HANYUL Red Rice Essential Skin Softener Limited, and AYUNCHE won the iF Design Award in the Packaging Design category.


The LANEIGE Water Bank blends in well with any environment, going beyond the boundary of simple package design, and captures the essence of the product to offer the value of better life. It is an exclusive new design from LANEIGE that creates a beautiful sense of balance in everyday living spaces for Millennial and Gen Z consumers who are able to express their joy and beauty freely.


Another awardee, LANEIGE Neo Foundation, was devised with object design in mind, and focuses on the usability and purpose of the product. All parts in and out of the foundation are designed in minimal cylinder forms, while emphasizing the sensuous quality the users can feel through the process of touching and using it.


IOPE Super Vital Bio Potential embodies the living skin cell ecosystem of IOPE Bio. It has minimal decoration and finish to express a new aura that reveals the bio vitality with beautifully curved, organic lines. Over 60% of the package is made from recycled plastic, while the QR code at the bottom acts as a bridge that allows for digital communication.


The design for HANYUL Red Rice Essential Skin Softener Limited contains the philosophy and sincerity of the brand, and it elaborately portrays the moment of fermentation. The rhythmical splash of red yeast rice and the gradual deepening of the color are presented sensuously, showing its dedicated effort to bring traditional Korean elements into the product.


AYUNCHE demonstrates product features that remain true to the essence of the product based on the keywords, High Performance & Eco-Chic in the package design renewal. It expresses the brand philosophy of co-existing with nature in harmony by incorporating hair designers’ troubles, concerns, and the solutions in the package.


Sulwhasoo House, Sulwhasoo Bukchon Flagship Store is a place that blends into our lives and celebrates the beauty of the tradition, thereby embodying the appetite and philosophy of the brand. The house delivers the contemporary sense of beauty that bridges the past and the present through the marriage of a 1930s Korean house and a 1960s western-style house where you can discover the valuable history and time of Sulwhasoo.


Amorepacific is being recognized by the world for its beautiful and sophisticated design, winning awards from the Red Dot Design Award 2022 for three products in March.
